“My work explains the aspects of myself that I can not express with words; my experience with myself and the world around me. The inner spaces and turmoil that is not visible to the naked eye. As the years have gone by a lot of inner questions about my gender and sexuality have came up. I have used myself as the primary model in my work for years now and it has been interesting to see how this has helped me work through a lot of confusing hard questions. By using myself as the subject, I hope to foster a more direct communication with the viewer.”
