Maxa Huyeya / El camino del venado es una experiencia artística multidisciplinaria que celebra la riqueza cultural y la sabiduría ancestral del pueblo Wixarika (México). Nuestro proyecto combina la música tradicional con animación en bucle, que celebra y difunde la cosmovisión Wixarika ilustrando su calendario y territorio ritual, construyendo un relato multimedia sobre el sistema de ceremonias, peregrinaciones y ofrendas que anualmente realizan sus representantes para la renovación de los ciclos naturales y agrícolas.
Maxa Huyeya / The Path of the Deer is a multidisciplinary artistic experience that celebrates the cultural richness and ancestral wisdom of the Wixarika people (Mexico). Our project combines traditional music with looped animation, which celebrates and disseminates the Wixarika worldview by illustrating their ritual calendar and territory, building a multimedia story about the system of ceremonies, pilgrimages, and offerings that their representatives make annually for the renewal of natural and agricultural cycles.
